This piece began as a whim after taking apart a beloved pair of worn jeans that had wonderful patches.  Using scraps of flannel from coat and cape designs, plus a checked dish towel that found its way into the stash, I arranged the fabrics until quite magically, a flag emerged.   It felt very Americana to me and so it needed to be stitched onto felted bison.  It's a cozy throw for the couch, chair, or TV lounging.  Would also make a fun wall hanging. Felted bison blankets are  85% needle-felted bison fiber and 15% wool.  Machine and hand stitched, the blanket is perfect for the couch, favorite chair, or even as a lap throw in the car.  46" X 42".
